Al Maktoum International Airport has successfully completed a substantial expansion of its cargo handling facilities, increasing capacity by 85% and solidifying its position as a global logistics hub. The new 150,000 square meter cargo terminal features advanced sorting technology, temperature-controlled storage, and enhanced customs processing. This expansion enables the airport to handle an additional 2 million tons of cargo annually, supporting growing e-commerce demand and pharmaceutical shipments.
